yes, i'm still unsure whether roda and frameworks like it (eg sinatra) can scale to large, complicated web applications. Block spaghetti is a real worry in that case. I think it requires one to be very careful and considerate otherwise.

I have a few larger apps. I aggressively split route files if they get larger than a hundred lines or so.

And I essentially ban instance variables inside the routes. If you need it between route files, it needs to go through the shared_vars plugin and be explicitly turned into a local.
