<novakane> is there an example somwhere on how I can use river-control to send border-width 0 from the layout generator?
<novakane> I mean where there is a similar implentation in river that I can read the code

<leon-p> novakane: basically you'll want to send the command `border-width 0` using add_argument for each word, and then call run_command

<novakane> leon-p: hmm thanks I see, something like this or not? https://github.com/ifreund/river/blob/master/riverctl/main.zig#L66
<leon-p> yes, riverctl is a good example
<novakane> leon-p: thanks, I need to move but I'll see later if it's worth to add like this
<leon-p> novakane: just be careful to not create infinite loops: when the border size is changed, your layout generator will receive another layout demand.

<elshize> is there a way to configure window borders in river? in particular, I'd like to make it a bit thicker and possibly tweak colors. is this supported?
<ifreund> elshize: yep, search for "border" in the riverctl man page
<elshize> ifreund: thanks. I have no idea how I read the man pages and missed that sections somehow.
<ifreund> no worries!
<elshize> btw I've been going through the issues on github, and saw the mako issue; I can confirm that I have been having some issues as well on mako 1.5-1; never saw these on sway.
<elshize> I'm currently running mako with WAYLAND_DEBUG=1 but spitefully, it won't reproduce now :D
<ifreund> elshize: thanks for confirming, I definitely need to spend some more time looking into that one before 0.1.0
<elshize> ifreund: just was able to reproduce
<elshize> I'll attach the logs on github
<ifreund> sweet, thanks!
