Greetings! I'm having trouble subscribing to the racket-users mailing list (on Google groups). I'm getting a "Unexpected DFS AddMemberships membership status" from mailer daemon after I send an email to racket-users+subscribe@googlegroups.com and confirmed the subscription. Any idea?
<bremner>
even4void: do you know about the racket discourse instance? It is much more active than that list, and works in mailing list mode if you want.

bremmer: I didn't even know we could subscribe to Discourse by email. Will check the Racket forum then. Thanks for the tip!

thanks for the answers re: pronouncing ? as "huh". i think it's one of those things i never picked up because i only interact with lisp folks online and not in person. at some point i did learn that "srfi" is "surfy" watching a video, and i also learned "/" as "with"
<plane>
i can't seem to find any documentation of these conventions
<plane>
oh! that is probably where i picked up 'with'
<plane>
i think i read that page when i first picked up racket. which has been a couple years now, i think. i mostly write lots of tiny racket programs for myself to make little tasks easier, or sometimes just for fun or for self-study purposes. i guess that's why i still haven't picked up all the spoken conventions
<winny>
been using racket for awhile too, haven't picked up stuff like huh... probably won't ever unless I use it in an academic context
<winny>
I think it's less relatable than using zero-p, zero-q, really anything besides zero-huh, which depending on the speaker and audience might be parsed wrong as a question or something
