PaulFertser : oh, so it's SF, then them to blame, thx for info
<gamiee>
About multi adapter, I am asking because BL808/BL606P have 3 CPU cores, but every exposes their own JTAGs, they are not chained
<gamiee>
the worst, when the chip is reset, pinmux is reset too, so it detaches the JTAGs
<gamiee>
but maybe I got idea how to solve tis
<PaulFertser>
gamiee: but can they be just chained externally?
<gamiee>
PaulFertser: they can, but the problem is, after reset, BootROM enables only one JTAG, so the chain is not working until second JTAG is bringed up

gamiee: in my TODO list there is the multi-adapter support, but don't expect it to be available anytime soon. My target is to address the arm JTAG AP. It is a JTAG inside the SOC to access a part of it. This JTAG is behind an arm DAP AP that works as an adapter, so I need to handle the real adapter to access the SOC plus this "virtual" adapter inside the SOC. It could also handle two real adapters, but it was not my primary

target.
<gamiee>
borneoa___ oh! cool! Although, I can imagine such feature might require quite a lot of rework?
<borneoa___>
gamiee: today's code has a single hardcoded adapter. We need to abstract it to address the multiple ones
<gamiee>
borneoa___ : yeah, that's what I was mostly thinking of that would be a issue (the hardcoded single adapter). btw, thanks for review of my flash driver, I will work on it next week.
<borneoa___>
gamiee: you are welcome!
