Hi everyone, does anyone already used SWO (or tpui) on STM32H7 ? thank you have a nice day !

One of my colleagues started looking into it once, but never got it working. IIRC he had trouble getting a correct-looking signal to come out of the MCU.

TRACESWO that is.

Unfortunately he’s moved on to another company so I can’t easily ask about the details.
<Guest14>
ok thank you very much :)

I think i got a proper swo signal, but when i'm trying to enable tpui configured as uart, it tells me UART is not supported
<Guest14>
I think it worked for me with a previous version but i wish I could figure it out without downgrading
<Hawk777>
If you’re able to downgrade, just making sure your config file is working with the older version would narrow down the search area (to “might need to update config file syntax or might be a bug” rather than “maybe this doesn’t work because it never did work”)
<Hawk777>
Not suggesting sticking to the older version.
<Guest14>
You are right, i'll try that thank you very much for your advice
