hi friends. ive been trying to get some jtag programming working for about 12 hours now. I think that `TDO` on my modboard doesn't actually go where. but then again, there's a cap and resistor it goes to. The TDO pin on the CPLD doesn't seem to connect anywhere. SVF flash is failing.

Anyone have any tips? I don't even know where to begin. Trying to program an ATMel / Microchip ATF1502 with a USB Blaster clone. the blaster worked just fine for trying to program a cyclone IV earlier

I feel like an idiot man. I've tried WinUSB, libusb, and libusbk drivers with zadig

I even tried a version of OpenOCD that comments out the latency test stuff (lines 105-109 of ublaster_access_ftdi.c)

actually it is connected. the reason the other side of the resistor didn't seem to go anywhere while viewing the gerber is because it goes to the ground plane. so i guess this is a pull-up.

So, I lied, the cap that is also connected to TDO does indeed go to the TDO pin of the CPLD

it's not even a cap. it's two resistors. TDO pad in -> R1 -> GND. TDO -> R2 -> TDO leg of CPLD

my TCK, TMS, and TDI all have continuity between the CPLD pins and the jtag holes
