NishanthMenon: the patch series looks fine to me, but for the high-level description I would find it helpful to list the differences compared to am65 and am64. E.g. Is this mainly a shrink from 28nm to something newer, does it add units that were not there, and does it still use the old sgx544?

arnd, thanks for taking a look, no sgx53, newer axe series. I am waiting for the gpu patches for axe series upstream before talking of it, but anyway, I will wait to actually see it before claiming. Basically 16nm, k3 based, different spin.. vigneshr please take a note..

thanks fro the information NishanthMenon. With upstream drivers for the A-Series GPU, this would be a really nice driver, without those I guess the graphics would be even worse than the 544

I am seeing a wired U-Boot message "udma_stop_dev2mem TIMEOUT"

I think it only happens under some special network load. @home everything is fine. @office I see this error followed by a boot hang in linux (with enabled ethernet in dts)

NishanthMenon: yep.. need study the datasheet a little bit get a feeling why that DMA thing could happen. Tried latest U-Boot master with the same result.
