<macc24> urja: o/
<macc24> do you know anything about wifi/sdio being broken on veyron on 5.16?
<urja> hm, no, not that i've tested a lot... but i have a vague memory of it working (atleast somewhat) in some rc?
<macc24> hm
<macc24> can you share config file that you're using?
<macc24> what's weird is that emmc works
<urja> i'll do a reboot and check and toss the config somewhere then, brb
<macc24> "mmc_host mmc1: Bus speed (slot 0) = 400000Hz [...]" seems like it's doing something? and then reseting the mmc interface?
<urja> okay i'm writing this from 5.16-rc3 (+my patches) on a veyron speedy ...
<urja> so yeah the wlan appears functional
<macc24> i think i've got irq support missing
<macc24> veyron port in cadmium kinda bitrot and i threw its kernel config to start over
<robmur01> CONFIG_PWRSEQ_SIMPLE?
<macc24> robmur01: i've got it already
<urja> oh newest appears to be rc5 and i havent updated the laptop since rc3 lol
<urja> brb
<urja> but in the meanwhile that's the config
<macc24> thanks
<urja> oh yeah i do have a personal autobuilding thing i made (to avoid needing to remember to rebase and build kernels like... myself), the builder part is not online anywhere (yet)
<urja> and yes, rc5 seems to also have working wlan
<urja> ... it does still have that revert that i did for eMMC reasons, tho... (and effects of which i havent investigated, been busy with school and not super interested in this...)

<macc24> urja: FYI dfi devfreq event device is used only on rk3399 soc in mainline... so far
<macc24> o/ macromorgan

<urja> and yeah thanks that seems rk3399-only, true ... i don't remember enabling it so it might be from the Arch ARM kernel config or i just "see rockchip->enable"'d it when doing the first pass real quick
<macc24> when i'm bored i might try getting it running on rk3288
<macc24> i already have patches to have it running on rk3326/px30
* macc24 notices that rk8xx clock support is disabled
<macc24> that might have complicated things
<macc24> yep, it was it
<macc24> thanks urja!
<urja> yay :)
