does anyone know how petitboot on the n2-plus finds and loads the initrd? it not seemingly working to load an initrd.lz4 as specified by an extlinux.conf file

ive figured out how to boot from petitboot by hitting 'n' and creating a new boot item on the main screen, but it doesn't seem to persist on reboot
