I found out that it actually uses an Availink AVL6862TA demod + a RafaelMicro R912 tuner.
<f_>
The problem is, I didn't find as much documentation about the R912 tuner as I did with the demod.
<f_>
The demod has drivers, which will (apparently) be soon upstreamed.
<f_>
But all I found about the tuner was old drivers used by CoreELEC and that's about it.

<HackerKkillinghi>
We might able to take a old driver or a wip mainline driver for dvb and hack it to linux-postmaketos-amlogic via patch
<f_>
HackerKkillinghi: I'd like not to do that..
<f_>
That is, taking a downstream driver and using it.
<f_>
And I don't even think it's possible -- the downstream drivers use a lot of stuff from the Amlogic downstream kernel. If we want to use those, we have to modify them a lot and I don't think they can land upstream.
<f_>
But we can use the downstream driver to write a better driver that could eventually land upstream.

Those 3 DTS patches are about to get dropped.
<f_>
The 3 KII Pro DTS patches.
<f_>
They got merged into linux-next (IIRC) and they'll eventually land in a brand new linux release.
<f_>
Which means we can drop them once that happens.
