<lvrp16> narmstrong: is the video resolution hdisplay and vdisplay filters necessary? was it designed to guard against any bad resolutions?

<narmstrong> lvrp16: it tries to limit to what was tested to work, but if some higher resolutions are working, it’s definitely ok to change the limits

<narmstrong> xdarklight: it's funny we had questions on the OTG port of the C2 in such a short period!
<tolszak> narmstrong: Total coincidence from my side.

<tolszak> narmstrong: I'm not sure if it is that but I think I finally make the overclock work. I will double check it but I think the issue was that I had performance governor enabled by default. Hence if it got all the frequencies up to 2016000 then device was ran with 2016000 which is known to be not stable. with powersave governor it booted and I can change the frequency of cores from sysfs.

<tolszak> narmstrong: I added logs and all 13 frequencies are reported in arm_scpi. Many thanks for your help. I will let you know regarding further tests.

<xdarklight> steev: whether any of this would be accepted upstream is unclear. but since it didn't work for me I haven't even attempted upstreaming any of this yet
<steev> makes sense :)
<steev> i just wanna poke at it because it would be nice to use the otg port and not have to run a cable down to the usb port
<steev> no idea when i'll have the free time, but i can grab that branch and so forth ;)
<xdarklight> steev: sure, good luck with your experiments in case you start with them :-) if you have any questions then feel free to ping me here
<xdarklight> narmstrong: indeed. it's your fault though: you set the bar high with making OTG work on newer SoCs ;-) just kidding
