<psi56> Hi, I'm trying to use "thermal-sensors = <&scpi_sensors 0>" in the "thermal-zones" dts node on a113. But for some reason /sys/class/thermal/thermal_zone0/temp is always -1000.  I suspect some scpi issue, but other scpi stuff seems to work, like setting the cpufreq. Has anyone had success with the scpi thermal sensor?

<xdarklight> psi56: try enabling the &saradc node in your board.dts (see meson-gxl-s905x-p212.dtsi for an example). IIRC on AXG SCPI also uses SAR ADC for measuring the SoC temperature. if the SAR ADC (and it's clocks) are not enabled by the SCPI firmware it'll have to be done by Linux
<psi56> xdarklight Thanks! That worked!
<xdarklight> at some point we need to forward port this piece of code to the mainline SAR ADC driver, then we can read the SoC temperature directly, without the SCPI firmware: https://github.com/endlessm/u-boot-s905x/blob/9149dd46279da8c347f36b7ca3164f660cfd6581/common/cmd_cpu_temp.c
