<fangerer> Good morning! Please remind that we will have our monthly HPy dev call tomorrow at 10a CEST / 8a UTC. Join us on Zoom: https://oracle.zoom.us/j/339127822?pwd=YkNZbFgvdXZ4Z3NlcWg1N3BlZ3JTUT09
<fangerer> mkoubaa: Sorry for the delay. If Hodgestar doesn't mind (and I guess he doesn't since he didn't work on it for a while), you could work on the porting example (https://github.com/hpyproject/hpy/pull/246).
<antocuni> fangerer: btw, I'm reviewing #335
<antocuni> you and steve_s did an enormous job with that!
<antocuni> I hope to be able to finish the review before tomorrow's call
<fangerer> great, thank you!
<fangerer> btw. I've quickly drafted an agenda for tomorrow's meeting. Feel free to add/change topics: https://github.com/hpyproject/hpy/wiki/dev-call-20220804
<steve_s> good, thanks! (note that Florian did the final implementation and I just did early prototypes hacked in CPython)
<antocuni> ok, I finished my review and I came up with a proposal which we might want to discuss tomorrow
<Hodgestar> fangerer, mkoubaa: Very happy for someone to take over the porting example. Otherwise I can continue it at the sprint.
<Hodgestar> Possibly I was too ambitious -- I wanted to make something where one could get nice diffs of the different steps and be able to edit and update the steps easily.
<Hodgestar> I wrote up the minutes of the discussion of numpy port at SciPy 2022 -- https://github.com/hpyproject/hpy/wiki/scipy-2022-numpy-porting-discussion
<Hodgestar> @antocuni Please read and let me know if you'd like me to add or correct anything (or just edit the minutes yourself if that will be easier).
<fangerer> thank you, Simon
