<cfy_yfc> both a Logic Analyzer (Saleae; so rather poor GND connection) and LeCroy passive probes (500 MHz; standard GND clip); yes the GND can make quite big of a difference, but in this case it is the same setup -- just different Glasgow Explorer settings

cfy_yfc: can you expand on why saleae have poor ground connections? I’m curious since I own one myself

<cfy_yfc> because they just use jumper wire cables as opposed to shielded cables as it is the case, e.g., for the DSLogic logic analyzer

<cfy_yfc> in terms of hardware, I very much prefer the DSLogic; in terms of software I enjoy the simplicity of the Saleae -- they should team up and make the Saleae software to control the DSLogic 😆
