coreos boot using ignition file with remote sources is producing an x509: certificate error. Do I need to run update-ca-certs or similar in my ignition file?
<millerthegorilla>
I would have thought that the coreos-installer script would have installed an image with up to date ca-certs present.

dustymabe should certificates be present in the downloaded image that is used by coreos-installer?

okay its not setting the time properly before it connects. I thought that ignition would at some point use chronyd without needing configuration. Do I need to set a timezone maybe?

I have found a redhat article. hope it works.
