although we cannot yet automate the writing of patches (e.g. to fix API breakage from the libxml2 update), at least we can automate the checking of signatures, to catch silent upstream changes like the one ivandi reported yesterday. How about adding that functionality to the bot that writes to crux-reports, https://lists.crux.nu/pipermail/crux-devel/2008-July/003658.html ?

The libxml2 update also broke the webkitgtk build, but thanks to ukky we don't have to put a patch in our ports tree; it's enough to add -fpermissive to the CXXFLAGS.
