<farkuhar> so my previous report about a successful lease with dhcpcd 9.4.1 was an illusion, caused by lingering state from the pre-update dhcpcd process. From a cold boot with dhcpcd 9.4.1 installed, i wasn't able to acquire a lease. Thanks for reverting to 9.4.0.105 while this bug gets sorted out.
<jaeger> I did that to myself as well while testing... was confusing

<beerman> fwiw, networkmanagers dhcpcd backend is broken no matter which version, though I didn't test latest HEAD
<jaeger> bummer
<beerman> no worries because the internal one works just fine
<jaeger> The email hook for gitea has been behaving well so far. I want to add some logging and hash checking to it but that shouldn't take too long. Still need to write and test the hook for regenerating the rsync repos and move the API over to run as the proper user
<jaeger> I haven't forgotten it, just busy
<jaeger> also dealing with some vision issues currently slowing me down
<jaeger> When we make the switch to gitea I will probably also change the location of the rsync trees so they're no longer in the crux user's homedir
<jaeger> Because they aren't owned by that user :P
