<beerman> and in pkgmk you deleted the LC_ALL line? Or am I missing something. With that locale unpacking all the things is no problem for me
<beerman> just to be clear though, i didn't delete the LC_ALL line from pkgmk, I just adjusted it to use the C.UTF-8 locale. you can see all locales installed with `locale -a`, works with all other ports that had utf8 file names too, e.g. contrib/bat

<jue> jaeger: FYI, I wrote something about the locale issue in TODO37, the change to pkgmk is already in pkgutils.git

<stenur> beerman destructed dbus in 3.7 just in case i am the only one who banged against this wall
<stenur> ..And to point out that C.utf8 is broken until hm i think it did read 2.35 but maybe they backported i do not know. It breaks the tests of my mailer, so i had to resort the test's search for an UTF-8 locale.
<stenur> But yes it is true it worked here. 'Just sayin'
<jaeger> Yeah, looked like that was the issue. It's in pkgutils.git but not the release? So when the ISO bootstrap process installs packages in a chroot the change is gone
<beerman> i guess the latest versions of our tools still need to be packed, i didn't do it yet and i didn't check yet
<jue> stenur: what's your problem with dbus?
<jue> jaeger: I can prepare a new version of pkgutils tomorrow, at the moment I see no other changes that needs to be added
<stenur> jue: pid file position
<stenur> (mismatch configuration / rc.d script)
<jue> ok, that's what you call 'destructed dbus' without any futher infos? I'd really prefer to see a more usefull error report without personal offense
<stenur> yep
<stenur> i could have said destructed iptables but it lu
<stenur> still works :-)
<stenur> Good night.
