Looks like python3-pyparsing and python3-packaging have a version conflict. packaging doesn't like pyparsing 3.x+

yeah that one.. that's one commit to revert, and it's pyparsing indeed

sad story, they prepared this new version for roughly a year and most tools that make use of it didn't catch on. i didn't check if there are patches yet but i'd agree with reverting pyparsing commit

btw, reminder, because this got me the first time around again: libgpg-error-32 needs to be removed before you can update it. when its installed, for whatever reason, it tries to link against 64 bit libraries and fails. after removal it compiles just fine and links to 32 bit libs :D
