<pitillo>
building llvm for all targets on arm 32b hits this error, which you solved on aarch64
<pitillo>
donyou remind if is there something (pprts below) which need some love?

<pitillo>
do you remind if is there something (ports below) which need some love?

pitillo: i'll need to get back to you later, i got a busy workshop day today
<pitillo>
don't worry, no need to rush
<beerman>
pitillo i don't exactly remember hitting this error
<pitillo>
I remember I hit that one when I tried to build all targets in both architectures
<pitillo>
forcing only ARM build llvm wihout problems but they begin in mesa (lack of targets with current build, which builds all targets)
<pitillo>
I remember you told about the lack of targets (it gives problems in other ports) some time ago and you added them
<pitillo>
I'm currently making some tests on the odroid (llvm built with -D LLVM_TARGETS_TO_BUILD='ARM') and rust on the way
<pitillo>
but mesa with current Pkgfile version which builds all targets, breaks
<beerman>
oh yeah
<beerman>
i mean, i dunno if they support all targets on all platforms
<beerman>
this is based on x86_64
<pitillo>
the targets were cut back but you added a lot (mesa), same as in llvm (because if they weren't built, they gave problems in other ports depending on llvm)
<beerman>
well, llvm itself wants you to package all targets (on x86_64). thats what I based my action on. it works fine on aarch64 so why not? i am not sure if that works/applies to 32bit arm targets
<pitillo>
amdgpu targets gives problems.... I'll try to make a deeper research about the error to try to understand why itr's breaking
<beerman>
i probably would opt to build lesser targets again
<beerman>
those platforms are old, i mean, how much support will they receive upstream?
<pitillo>
amdgpu on arm is a no sense... probably there are more
