jaeger changed the topic of #crux-arm to: CRUX-ARM 3.6 Released! - http://crux-arm.nu/Documentation/ReleaseNotes3-6 | Logs: https://libera.irclog.whitequark.org/crux-arm/
<beerman> finally set up a swap partition for the pi and updating ports
<beerman> of course it died earlier on llvm without it, woops
<pitillo> yeah, those ports relay on swap yes or yes
<pitillo> let's see how it goes with swap
<pitillo> I'm trying to use 3.6 32b on the M1
<beerman> is your government okay with this? 😄
<pitillo> just trying... but prt-get is not working properly (it can't find ports xD)
<pitillo> the container is a armv7 so it should be fine... but I don't remember if 32b must support arv5 xD
<beerman> i think it depends
<pitillo> I believe we were supporting some old > armv5te on the 32b releases...
<pitillo> so building on the M1 can break it and we'll need to restart the release build on the odroid or cubieboard2
beerman has quit [Ping timeout: 256 seconds]
beerman has joined #crux-arm
<beerman> i just noticed that it doesn't clock up and I was using the wrong governor... 😴
<pitillo> which governor were you using beerman ? and which one are you using now?
<beerman> dunno which one was being used, now performance
<pitillo> I use ondemand I believe
<pitillo> it can scale down if not needed, I believe, and scale up when needed
<beerman> i'd need to reboot, but it finished llvm and compiler rt already and now its doing aarch64 rust
<beerman> 4 threads and all
<pitillo> niiiice
<pitillo> very good news
<beerman> 🤓
<pitillo> I'm out again after trying a kernel 6.1.... bit by bit. Tomorrow I'll check the behavior over serial again
<beerman> have a nice evening 👋
<pitillo> same there beerman :D
