<beerman> pitiIIo: https://crux-arm.nu/gitweb?p=ports/opt-arm.git;a=blob;f=gobject-introspection/Pkgfile;h=e123bc08ff1941056fa55928cfa2b469f975ef7b;hb=a772557a5ad6b3ad1eec8f2c9d4bccbb7318b923
<beerman> This actually looks like you can just drop the overlayed version and official opt version should build fine - did you test that yet?
<beerman> i ran into a few ports that wouldn't support lto on my pi that runs 32bit CRUX.. pie can also be a problem, but not all ports
<beerman> its really just a few ports (pipewire comes to mind) that would need an overlayed version to not do lto for example..

<pitiIIo> ummmm thanks beerman, havent's checked
<pitiIIo> I'll try to review it this afternoon and remove it if not needed anymore (at least at 64b isn't needed the overlay, so you are right for sure)
<pitiIIo> if you have a opt ports list to make overlays, share it and I can put hands on them
<beerman> this is generally a point for anything that uses meson/cmake
<beerman> its quite a bit of groundwork to do now after years of overlaying ports that used crappy autotools, but it will be better in the future after that work is done :)
