Anyone familiar with DesginWare mmc drivers? If so, I am trying to figure out why there are two seemingly similar drivers dw_mmc.c and dw_mmc-pltfm.c, versus sdhci-of-dwcmshc.c.
<drewfustini>
sdhci-of-dwcmshc.c. is much newer, having been created in 2018. I am trying to figure out though why it was created instead of using dw_mmc.c and dw_mmc-pltfm.c.

drewfustini: funny you should bring that up; one of the IP blocks on the chip I'm working on seems to be a dwmmc. my guess is 'glue code'
