<DC-IRC> [Discord] <gambl0r> time to try @spooky8086's build of 24.04 on orangepi5-plus, thanks
<DC-IRC> [Discord] <mecoblock> can somebody tell me where to find the RK3576 TRM?
<DC-IRC> [Discord] <amazingfate> Maybe it is not released.
<DC-IRC> [Discord] <amazingfate> Last time I ask about trm of rk3576 is 25th, March, and I was told to wait for some time.
<DC-IRC> [Discord] <mariob> It's the same as rk3588 +/- the known missing peripherals
<DC-IRC> [Discord] <mariob> It's the same as rk3588 +/- the known "missing" peripherals
<DC-IRC> [Discord] <jonh7776> Is the current u-boot for the Rock-5b Edge build known to be working currently? I've tried it several times. It does not appear to work for me. On the serial console I just see the initial SPI loader. The final message on the serial console is "out". I tried enabling the serial console on the u-boot build but still nothing visible.
<DC-IRC> [Discord] <lanefu> what uboot version does it show in console? or does it get that far
<DC-IRC> [Discord] <jonh7776> No. It doesn't appear to get that far. Assuming I've built u-boot with the serial console enabled before. I get the DDR V1.07 and other DDR init messages, then "out" and that's all...
<DC-IRC> [Discord] <jonh7776> I build an Armbian Noble image with standard console (edge) as I said. That should be the Kwibo (sp?) 2024.04 u-boot.
<DC-IRC> [Discord] <lanefu> my build of that was working from a few weeks ago
<DC-IRC> [Discord] <lanefu> but it i cant say it was the same exact build thats on the image you're using
<DC-IRC> [Discord] <jonh7776> I was thinking to try using an older commit point on the u-boot repo. I doubt if anything got broken but just as an experiment. I will try it later today. The other odd possibility is that I have an NVMe drive installed. Although it should have no loader(s) on it perhaps that is confusing matters with the new u-boot. It's a pain to take it out of the case and remove the NVMe driv <clipped message>
<DC-IRC> [Discord] <jonh7776> e but I suspect I'll have to try that also just to be sure.
