Hi. The iCE40up5K says we can use the CDONE pin as a normal IO after configuration, but yosys complains : package does not have a pin named '7' (on TQFP144 package).
<gatecat>
I'm confused. ice40up5k doesn't have a tqfp144 package
<gatecat>
and afaik it's not the ice40up5k that lets you use CDONE after configuration but another of the ice40 series - most don't let you
<acathla>
Ah, sorry, the QFN package
<acathla>
SG48
<acathla>
And the doc is the iCE40 UltraPlus family datasheet, page 41
<tnt>
That's only in some other package, not the SG48
<tnt>
Yeah in UWG30
<tnt>
CDONE is shared with IOB_13b
<tnt>
but in SG48 it's a dedicated pin, not user controllable.
<tnt>
(err IOB_12a sorry ...)
<acathla>
The doc says : "In user mode, after configuration, this pin can be programmed as general I/O in user function. In 30-pin WLCSP, this pin connects to IOB_12a, which also is shared as global signal G4 in user mode"
<acathla>
I thought WLCSP was just an exception
<tnt>
And you thought wrong apparently.
<tnt>
If you don't believe us, feel free to try in Radiant / icecube2 ...
<acathla>
tnt, haha, I do believe you of course. I just had a little hope to get a new IO available :(
