RP: I'm running the lttng-tools stress tests again - I've observed test lockups and want to check if those happen with out 5 sec sleep patch, upstream 'proper' patches or both.

RP: also, ptest-runner isn't helpful when it kills stuck tests, I'll try to make it at least print the process tree, df and free outputs when it does that :-/

RP: I also was wondering if it's actually better to let it be stuck indefinitely, because the most helpful in that situation is to be able to ssh into the live image and check what's going on

(perhaps not as a global setting though, but something that can be configured - not sure how)

maybe let it run for 24 hours is an ok compromise :)
