hi, when using the tryboot_a_b on the rpi to tell the stages before u-boot to fetch the files from a different partition - is it possible to get this information in u-boot too so it can load the kernel from the correct partition?

calebccff: yes, though the gcc driver is "broken" (returns 0) so I had to short circuit clock set in the uart driver

but with few hacks like that + switching the fb from 888 to 565 in lk2nd I could get it to the console on both uart and the display

Hey folks! Currently trying to debug TLB issues on a MPC85xx for a hobby project. I think we're at the stage where we need an external debugger... I happen to have a BDI3000 around, but I'm lacking the firmware CD.

manawyrm: the firmware is I think proprietary and cannot be redistributed freely

i am compiling teres_i_defconfig -> Is there a way to have SPL, but without the DTB? bcs on UEFI the OS will use the DTB from u-boot instead of the linux's DTB which is unwanted
