<jason-kairos[m]> Indeed, I've spent many hours debugging broken linker scripts.
<jason-kairos[m]> * linker scripts. Although, it makes one feel like the wrong sort of wizard.
<jason-kairos[m]> In possession of many secrets and dark arts, but the payoff? ... it's pretty meh.
<jason-kairos[m]> Mostly an exercise in frustration
<jason-kairos[m]> * in frustration - if it was not for all the binutils/gnu/etc utilities it would be impossible
<jason-kairos[m]> * in frustration - if it was not for all the binutils/gnu/etc utilities it would be impossible to debug
<jason-kairos[m]> * in frustration, turns ones hair grey - if it was not for all the binutils/gnu/etc utilities it would be impossible to debug

<slabity[m]> Does anyone know of any good resources for using the PIO on the RP2040/RP2350 in Rust? I'm only just learning about the PIO now but it seems pretty interesting

<M9names[m]> <YashwanthSingh[m> "Riscv_rt has issues which is not..." <- have you created a PR to fix it? you probably understand the issue as well as anyone, and you have motivation to do so
<M9names[m]> also: if you aren't going to fix it yourself, have you created an github issue with a project showcasing the problem so that others know it is an issue?
<M9names[m]> * an issue, how to reproduce it and can know if they have fixed it for you?

<thejpster[m]> <slabity[m]> "Does anyone know of any good..." <- The rp-rs project has lots of examples
<thejpster[m]> And you can look on GitHub for projects using the pio or pio_proc crates. I’ve written vga output and i2s interfaces, which you can find.
<YashwanthSingh[m> <M9names[m]> "also: if you aren't going to fix..." <- Yeah, i will raise the issue. Considering the issues we also had a thought to rewrite the runtime.
