hi, i have this stlink https://github.com/WeActStudio/WeActStudio.MiniDebugger/tree/master what do i need/how could i get it running on windows 11 to restore my stm32 clone? my board has SWCLK, GND, 3.3V, SWDIO populated. i have flashed bootloaded wrong way and want to restore it. i made connection to stlink using prototype board and connection is good. question is about software. what do i do now? i have got windows binaries and what is next does not make

damex: hi
<PaulFertser>
damex: do you have openocd for windows already, have you tried running it like "openocd -f interface/stlink.cfg -c "transport select hla_swd" -f target/stm32f1x.cfg ?

<antto>
is that not a DAPlink tho?
<PaulFertser>
I didn't check, I trusted "this stlink" wording :)
<PaulFertser>
Didn't realise someone could turn stlink into xerox.
<PaulFertser>
Apparently it supports both protocols though.
<antto>
oh they sell two variants of the debugger, one is said to be stlink, the other one daplink, on different chips
<PaulFertser>
Depending on what firmware you flash.
<PaulFertser>
The second chip is the clone of the first.
<antto>
if it's true then that would be another "very cheap daplink" option with usb2uart
