<maribu[m]> Sorry for nagging: https://review.openocd.org/c/openocd/+/5584/ is sitting there and waiting for a review. It was already reviwed by borneoa_ and all findings have been addressed. So hopefully it is already in a decent shape and only needs a final round of review from someone closely working with flash drivers.
<PaulFertser> maribu[m]: gerrit shows 3 comments you still didn't mark as done.
<PaulFertser> maribu[m]: sorry about the delay, usually whatever got on Antonio's radar is getting through fairly quickly.
<PaulFertser> maribu[m]: he's often active here during the weekends, feel free to ping him. Better to address unresolved comments though, probably you've just forgotten to mark them done?
<maribu[m]> Ah, I needed to klick on reply to actually mark those as resolved :)

<PaulFertser> maribu[m]: thank you so much for working on it
<PaulFertser> Yes, resolved is going through the same path as context comments, so to drafts and then published along with the full reply.
<borneoa__> Hello. Sorry for the delay on the reviews, but the flow of new patches is faster than I can handle, with some really huge ones that take really long time. Don't hesitate pinging me if something get lost in the queue... it already happened

<borneoa__> By the way, I will be with very limited connectivity during the next week, or probably during 2 weeks.
<maribu[m]> PaulFertser: u r welcome :) To be honest, I'm profiting way more from OpenOCD than OpenOCD is profiting from me here :D

<PaulFertser> borneoa__: hey :) I remember Tomas complained about Gerrit connectivity issues being annoying, and I changed one option on the server that should have helped, but didn't hear from him back. Have you noticed any instability lately yourself?

<borneoa__> PaulFertser: hey. Yes, I still experience some delay. The connection to https port gets accepted, but no data traffic and the browser remains waiting. I think during last weekend was a little better, but it still blocks at least two times
<PaulFertser> borneoa__: delay as in failing to show the data or does it eventually gets it?
<borneoa__> PaulFertser: no data at all. Sometimes the browser timeouts. Sometimes the browser reconnects and get request to re authenticate, but the refreshing the page the previous authentication is still working. It's hard to say, the behavior is not always the same.
<borneoa__> If you want, i can send you a list of patches that are for me ready to merge, and i let you do the whole process of adding +2 and merge, so you can have a look at the behavior.
<PaulFertser> borneoa__: hm, not sure that would help. I've already digged the logs and fine-tuned the communication with gerrit to be "foolproof" but somehow it looks like sometimes it just silently fails to respond to the httpd, hm.
<borneoa__> PaulFertser: I don't know if you will be able to check anything during the "delay", but at least you could be able to experience the same and try to guess what's going on
<PaulFertser> borneoa__: I'm considering just updating Gerrit version, do you think the coming weeks would be sane time?
<PaulFertser> I have an impression something is wrong within Gerrit itself so far.
<borneoa__> PaulFertser: I plan to merge 10+ patches on Friday night, or max Saturday morning, then I enter in blackout. No problem on my side. And if you want to start earlier, i can delay the merge to when I will be back online at the end of April
<PaulFertser> borneoa__: I'll do it after then.
<borneoa__> PaulFertser: ok. Hope it fixes the issue. Thanks for the effort
<PaulFertser> borneoa__: thank you for doing so much work for OpenOCD, and sorry if gerrit is annoying, I'm trying my best.
<borneoa__> PaulFertser: you are welcome. It's fun to see how OpenOCD is evolving. Yes, Gerrit is annoying, but so far we have not lost data; when it blocks I just move to something else and let it recover.
<PaulFertser> We might be losing some valuable input from Tomas and probably other people when it gets too annoying, that's what I'm afraid of.
<Haohmaru> weefee?
