russ: is this OpenOCD debugging something on a general purpose motherboard?
Hawk777 has quit [Quit: Leaving.]
<russ>
PaulFertser, yes, working on getting P6 support going (ppro, klamath, deschutes, dixon, mendicino, katami, coppermine)
<PaulFertser>
russ: that's amazing
<russ>
intel has released docs for lakemore, which is much much newer and openocd has support for it, so that's my starting point

russ: not only Intel released the docs, they directly contributed support for quark and friends to OpenOCD.
<Xogium>
that's very surprising coming from them
<Xogium>
I always had the impression intel didn't give a damn about open source software
<PaulFertser>
They have many various divisions.
<Xogium>
interesting
<PaulFertser>
They even let me review and incorporated feedback for the related appnote they're preparing for that work.
<Xogium>
dang, that's very cool
<PaulFertser>
Then they all disappeared :)
<Xogium>
naaah I'm still around
<Xogium>
:p
<Xogium>
was checking out a talking watch for the blind which is... Original, must say. It uses radio waves for accurate timekeeping. There's just one big problem: the time sync happens at around 03:00 utc, and you must be close to a window with a clear sky view for it to kick in
<Xogium>
I mean, other than that, the idea wasn't too bad... But they should have made the hour of the time sync configurable
