<dmbaturin> opam-cross-windows needs more people. I gave up on it and build executables on a Windows VM because I can't keep updating dependencies alone, and no one else does.
<dmbaturin> Coordinated effort could make opam-cross-windows a great thing, but in its current state it's merely "promising".
<dmbaturin> They are also slow to merge PRs and don't add more people to the team who could. I can't blame the maintainers for lack of time of course, but the problem remains.
<dmbaturin> Anyway, opam in cygwin isn't the worst experience I've had in my life. It just works, so the worst part for me is simply using Windows, however briefly.
