<rcurtin[m]> jonpsy: it's going well! yesterday I opened an [MR](https://gitlab.com/conradsnicta/bandicoot-code/-/merge_requests/27) to add all kinds of new elementwise operations that Armadillo has. that was kind of tedious, but little by little it is getting there :)
<rcurtin[m]> today I'll work on RNG support, which zoq started. if you want to help out, please feel free! I wrote a [checklist](https://gitlab.com/conradsnicta/bandicoot-code/-/issues/20) for the first release, and there are still many things to be done on it 😃
