<AhmedAbdelatty> Resending this, in case you didn't notice the first message. jonpsy[m], I realize I got rejected, but I'm still interested in the project I chose and would like work on it during my vacations. Would you still be interested in mentoring me?

<rcurtin[m]> jonpsy: we don't, but it's a little hard to compare... you can't just `make mlpack` on 3.4.2 and master and compare directly, since there have been so many functionality changes
<rcurtin[m]> my initial simulations showed that RAM usage is way down (and this is demonstrated by the fact that the windows CI build does build now, it just has a problem running the tests...)
<rcurtin[m]> but if you wanted to do some experiments, please, feel free, it would be great to see the differences. maybe comparisons of time and memory building the examples repository is the way to go
