< rcurtin> okay, an update on the build server (big): I have it in the symantec office, but the guy who controls the networking won't be in until the first week of february
< rcurtin> so although I can have it online, I can't have it accessible to the outside world
< rcurtin> simultaneously, I'm trying to convince another guy who controls a different part of the network to put the expensive build server that symantec bought on an externally-accessible network, but I don't have any timeline on that
< rcurtin> so it works internally (really well too!) but isn't yet externally accessible
< rcurtin> I also found three 2010-era Sun servers (sparc64) each with 128GB RAM and 64 threads
< rcurtin> they've never been turned on... the guy said "yeah I was just going to throw them away", so I'll add that to the build farm when I can
< zoq> sounds like progress ... also three sparc64 server with 128GB RAM just wow
< rcurtin> yeah I can't believe the stuff that's just sitting around unused
< rcurtin> and I'm in the atlanta satellite office... I can only imagine what's hidden in the california offices
