<pivi> what's theseFSSTUB binaries that appeared on am62 ti u-boot repo at some point? I was not able to find any information on those
<pivi> commit 91886b68025c ("arm: dts: k3: binman: am625: add support for signing FSSTUB images")
<NishanthMenon> pivi - Deep Sleep and LPM power states on AM625 - when you loose complete context, only a small SRAM content stays alive. this consists of two pieces of firmware - a firmware piece for TIFS to wake back up and restore itself from decrypted contents from DDR and another piece for DM to wakeup and restore DDR and restore the rest of system up from deep sleep. the TIFS stub that is stored during low power state is called
<NishanthMenon> fsstub
<NishanthMenon> entire Deep sleep and LPM is a mess currently.. trying to force both the product line cats to be walking in a straight line..
<NishanthMenon> not sure why people took a short cut and called it fsstub instead of tifs stub which would have been more readable..
