Hi I've a device with an exynos 4412 (a Galaxy SIII GT-I9300), and I've some strange behavior with a GPIO:
<
GNUtoo>
I'm trying to set gpm2 4 to low, I tried through the kernel and it didn't work (/sys/kernel/debug/gpio says it's high)
<
GNUtoo>
So I tried with devmem2 too and I've some really strange behavior
<
GNUtoo>
devmem2 0x110002a4 w => Value at address 0x110002A4 (0xb6f8a2a4): 0x13
<
GNUtoo>
devmem2 0x110002a4 w 0x3 => Value at address 0x110002A4 (0xb6fde2a4): 0x13, Written 0x3; readback 0x13
<
GNUtoo>
Note that I'm using u-boot (still with a nonfree BL1) so TrustZone doesn't come into play here
<
GNUtoo>
That GPIO is set to output, with pullup/pulldown disabled and a drive of 1x

GNUtoo: You cannot rule out Trustzone/Secure Monitor just because you use U-Boot. It's independent.
<
krzk>
Try playing this pin in U-Boot - using "mw" as well
<
krzk>
GNUtoo: I also don't remember whether you can reliably read output pin value...
<
GNUtoo>
I have BL1->u-boot and BL1 doesn't setup TrustZone in my case (in other cases it does)
<
GNUtoo>
ok, that might explain it
<
GNUtoo>
(for TrustZone I even have to remove firmware@204f000 to boot)
