<xdarklight> tanure: what if you don't enable the SD/eMMC controller and try to boot? would it boot without clock errors and would "cat /sys/kernel/debug/clk/clk_summary" trigger any error?
<tanure> Without SD card it doesn't boot
<tanure> There's no init
<xdarklight> what about initramfs?
<tanure> No user space
<xdarklight> most initramfs' I know come with busybox, that's enough for basic tinkering
<tanure> I don't know how to have a initramfs that is useful
<tanure> Ok I will try later
<xdarklight> it seems that kernelci is running all tests from initramfs: https://storage.kernelci.org/amlogic/for-next/v6.8-rc1-20-g7092cfae086f/arm64/defconfig/gcc-10/lab-baylibre/baseline-meson-g12a-u200.html - but some very basic initramfs (I think I always "borrowed" my arm64 ones from Arch Linux ARM's aarch64 generic image and then had to wrap it in an uImage so the vendor u-boot would take it)
<tanure> Thanks I will take a look
