<steev> so, there are 2 different versions of the radxa zero (that i know of) - V1.4 and V1.51, it would appear, the 1.51 has the LED gpio on gpio10, not gpio8 like the 1.4. Is there a nicer way to go about adding it than https://github.com/pyavitz/debian-image-builder/blob/b2dfdc89697d3eb486c663ca37bd1b19598d8d68/patches/amlogic/radxazero/edge/001-radxa-zero-rename-led-and-set-gpio-ao-8-and-10.patch ? that's quite hacky, but it does
<steev> work, just wondering a better solution to get it into mainline
<xdarklight> steev: for another board we have v1 and v2 in mainline: meson-gxl-s905x-libretech-cc.dts and meson-gxl-s905x-libretech-cc-v2.dts. I think there's two versions of Khadas VIM2 as well but I'm not sure if we support the "newer" version upstream
<steev> xdarklight: i don't think u-boot differentiates between the two different revisions of radxa zero
<xdarklight> steev: do they have any way to detect the different PCB revisions? some older boards use GPIOs or different resistors on an ADC channel so the PCB revision can be detected via software
<steev> that, i'm not sure
<steev> it was just something i noticed, and mentioned to c0rnelius (the repo above), and he dug in while i was poking at other things, and discovered the different gpio
<xdarklight> steev: https://dl.radxa.com/zero/docs/hw/Radxa_Zero_sch_v1.4_20210709.pdf - page 4 mentions that ADC_CH1 is used for HW_ID

<steev> hm, okay, will look into it. i'm assuming that would still require patching u-boot, and as of the most recent time i tried to build my own u-boot, i was never able to get it to boot successfully
