<armoon> xdarklight Hi since we are debugging the issue on USB HUB port gose into auto suspend state after the board come up.
camus1 is now known as camus
<armoon> from the Genesys-Logic-GL852G-HHG12_C136618 datasheet it seem that 5.1 section Configuration and I/O Settings
<armoon> 5.2.1 RESET Setting section gives some input on the signal drop, it stats about the connection between the VBUS signal and RESET pins in the HUB
<armoon> and other feature for the driver code you share earlier in the meson dwc2 source code few tuning paraments are missing in the PHY
<armoon> some function down below like peri_power_store and peri_sleepm_show and bussuspend_store are used to tune some of the DWC2 core
<armoon> I am not able to explain this much clearly but I feel some configuration parameter in PHY will help configure the DWC2 code correctly

<armoon> I just wanted to discuss this before I try to changes the code and test

<xdarklight> armoon: (this is the end of my lunch break, so I'll probably not reply for a few hours after this)
<xdarklight> armoon: are we talking about the issue where USB hotplug is not working or about the PWREN signal topic?
<xdarklight> armoon: I'm assuming it's the USB hotplug topic, so my following message will refer to that
<xdarklight> armoon: from what *I* understand is that the problem for USB hotplug is that either there's no "remote wakeup" signal from GL852G to dwc2 (meaning: GL852G doesn't generate this signal) or dwc2 doesn't receive the remote wakeup signal sent by GL852G
<xdarklight> armoon: I haven't read anywhere that remote wakeup is related (or requires) the RESET signal

<xdarklight> armoon: the peri_*_show and peri_*_store functions are used from userspace when running the 3.10 kernel. I can't tell if they're actually used by some init script or not
<xdarklight> armoon: of course you are free to do experiments with the PHY, but I am unable to give any further advice (other than hooking up a signal analyzer to the two pins between GL852G and our SoC)

<armoon> Ok no issue, you are correct we need to so some analysis on oscilloscope like http://www.testusb.com/HSEYE.htm but I don have it with me
