Hello! I am looking to have a conversation with some of the development team of LibreELEC—if possible.
<tito-me-doe>
if this is not the best place to do so, please let me know.

tito-me-doe: This channel is pretty quiet -- the message before yours was weeks ago. You may have to wait some time before someone sees the message.

I am a professional programmer and enterprise Linux system administrator. I don’t own my own company, but I am effectively the head/chair of almost every department that has anything to do with technology now (after 10 years) at a fairly large, online company. Although absolutely irrelevant to this topic, I only say this to qualify myself as not just some lunatic.
<tito-me-doe>
I have a pretty substantially dramatic (although not at all difficult to implement) proposal that I have substantial reason to believe would greatly benefit not only everyone working on LibreELEC, but also, anyone forking LibreELEC, or any form of any form of any fork of LibreELEC
<tito-me-doe>
well, my client doesn’t have edit, so, that was supposed to say fork of a fork of a fork, because LibreELEC is not just one project, it’s a build system for hundreds of projects that were forked from some project that at some point in its lineage was forked from LibreELEC
<tito-me-doe>
my proposal, in brief, I would like to propose an alliance project between (at minimum) LibreELEC, UnofficialOS, and ROCKNIX, but hopefully every still active fork in any linage would make the change as well.
<tito-me-doe>
Project BootELEC would be a platform
<tito-me-doe>
forked from LibreELEC
<tito-me-doe>
That would become the environment upon which LibreELEC’s userland would get installed and loaded
<tito-me-doe>
as well as the environment upon which eventually most Linux-based “JEOS” firmware is loaded
