16:16 <kyleingraham> Hello everyone. I came across hpy and found it really interesting so tried to port psycopg2 to using it. It took a bit to massage its build scripts to work with hpy but I can successfully get it to compile now. The problem I see now though is a runtime error when trying to run the test suite: "_psycopg.hpy.so: undefined symbol: HPyInit__psycopg".

16:16 <kyleingraham> psycopg2's test script adds the in-tree build directory to PYTHONPATH then imports tests. Does anyone know why that symbol would be undefined?

16:19 <arigato> kyleingraham: can't really help, but did you try to compile and run some demo extension module we use? you could try to go from there and figure out the difference
