<jsl> Hi everyone! Have seen no status updates on Glasgow Digital Interface Explorer Crowd Source Project since August so I came here to see if it is still alive.
<whitequark>
chip shortage's still going on
<d1b2>
<jsl> I fully understand, am sympathetic, and not angry or upset in the least. Just making sure that none of the primary developers have been lost to CoViD!
<whitequark>
oh, you meant "alive" in a literal sense

<esden> @jsl yeah, still around, still waiting for parts. I do want to write a new update, but I want it to be something useful beyond, "yep still here and waiting". I really hope to have something more substantial to report sooner than later. 🙂

unfortunately the glasgow boards have some "unicorn" parts on them that are hard to replace without a bigger redesign
<d1b2>
<jsl> Thanks for the update. I understand the frustration. Supply chain has gone crazy. JIT is no longer viable so everybody orders years of stock and creates impossible backlogs.
