<rwmjones> morning
<Ferix> Morning. I recently got an allwinner D1 board, the lichee RV. I was wondering how to compile the 5.4 kernel used in the Fedora image for the Nezha.
<davidlt[m]> tekkamanninja_: ^^^
<davidlt[m]> This board doesn't have an upstream support yet IIRC.
<Ferix> I can compile the mainline with patches kernel, but I am curious about the 5.4 with the blobs that support stuff like HDMI. I downloaded the kernel from the "sources_with_defconfig_and_patches" link. Is it just build that using the "fedora_docker_test1_defconfig" config?
<davidlt[m]> tekkamanninja_ is the best person to answer that
<Ferix> davidlt[m]: Yeah, I fully expect to need to create my own device tree for it, but for HDMI support and such it seems that the 5.4 kernel is the way to go for now. I got Tekkaman's version of mainline to compile and run on the Lichee RV after some devicetree experimentation at least.
<Ferix> Ah good to know, I'll wait for that then :)
