<beerman> why is that?
<farkuhar> beerman: the 'prt-get isinst' command will fail on most systems (except for users who made a libdecor port for themselves), and failure of that command is precisely when '-D wayland=disabled' gets appended to meson setup options.
<farkuhar> at least in ivandi's version. The way you wrote it, '-D wayland=disabled' only gets appended if the prt-get isinst command succeeds (which is almost never).
<beerman> thats the intention? you need both installed, else it fails. I do not have a libdecor port of my own
<beerman> also i am not needing mesa-demos nor using it so no idea what exactly you guys are needing.
<farkuhar> i am not using mesa-demos either, i was merely reporting what ppetrov^ discovered last week. Anyway, just use the command that ivandi gave above, and the build should succeed on both wayland and non-wayland systems.
<beerman> next time i boot the server and think about it, sure
<farkuhar> there's no hurry, mesa-demos is not a critical component of anybody's workflow. In contrast, my p7zip port had one of its three binaries broken for over a month, and nobody reported it before I hit the issue in my own workflow.
