<r0ni>
does anyone have a 3.8 rootfs for arm64 by chance up anywhere?
<r0ni>
my attempts to build one fail at python and my system such a mess I need a clean slate (on my new macbook air ;)

<pitillo (@pitillo:crux.nu)> Hey r0ni, there are some at gitea and sourceforge
<r0ni>
pitillo thx i've been nudged in the right direction ;)
<cruxbridge>
<pitillo (@pitillo:crux.nu)> Great!
<cruxbridge>
<pitillo (@pitillo:crux.nu)> Is one of those new and fresh M4?!?!?
<r0ni>
yep, macbook air m4 ;)
<r0ni>
I literally couldn't resist getting one lol
<cruxbridge>
<pitillo (@pitillo:crux.nu)> Nice toy! I have the Mac mini M4 and it’s a beast
<r0ni>
my M1 mini is a beast, I can' wait till i'm setup on the M4 to see how it wipes the floor with the M1 lol
<cruxbridge>
<pitillo (@pitillo:crux.nu)> Nice, both are powerfully and it’s good you can compare them, not sure how much it will improve vs the M1 really as like you said, it’s a beast too
<r0ni>
yeah, I guess I'm just happy to have a portable one now.... the thing that slows me down the most is mainly using a decade plus old laptop as my daily when I have this mini but I need a laptop to be productive, hence this new one
<cruxbridge>
<pitillo (@pitillo:crux.nu)> No way to use the new one as your daily laptop?
<r0ni>
oh I mean the new one will become my daily, the mini could be, but I'm not a fan of sitting at a desk all day long ;)

<pitillo (@pitillo:crux.nu)> Greeeat
