<beerman> 5 out of 5 stars
<beerman> does it actually take 2.5" drives or does the front deceive me here?
<jaeger> It's not that large, the front is just accent pieces meant to look like the larger case
<jaeger> It does have room for 2 4010 fans behind the bars but not nearly enough room for any drives.
<beerman> ah, thought it looked familiar, yeah :D ok, neat
<beerman> gotta say, the m2 hat for the pi 5 is nice
<jaeger> fractal made some of these as a gimmick to show off headphones at a trade show, I think... it was so popular they released the files to print your own :)
<beerman> good marketing
<jaeger> I haven't used the hat but I like that it's an option
<beerman> i only didn't have posts small enough to mount that hat on top of the poe hat :D it's something
<beerman> very professional setup i got running, hanging from wire in a 19" rack. I am looking to fix that up with cap hat rails to mount them and fitting posts. the pcie cable is just not long enough
<beerman> basically that setup, but mounted on a plate that i can use with the cap hat rails later
<jaeger> Sounds reasonable
<jaeger> How many hats can you stack before it becomes either structurally or electically unsound?
<jaeger> electrically
<beerman> I have no idea actually
<beerman> i have not run them under much stress yet either, but for what they are intended, they don't need that anyway
<jaeger> Just idle curiosity, maybe there's a youtube video where someone's tested it :)
