14:42 <zmatt> these images ship with the 5.10-ti series, but should you run into any problems with those you can of course always downgrade to earlier series like 4.19-ti

14:43 <zmatt> 4.19-ti is probably the most used kernel series on the BBB right now

14:45 <zmatt> but it is obviously getting dated, so unless you run into specific driver-related problems I wouldn't mess with the kernel that the image ships with, other than by updating to the latest minor version within the series
