Sticking "userspace" DMA in a prealloced hugepage. Beside the obvious "don't do that". Would it work? I'd assume yes, since I've seen people suggesting it. What would be the obvious drawbacks? Risk for migration? Are prealloced hugepage moveable by the kernel?
