So last night I download Armbian Bookworm Cinnamon for the Banana-Pi BPi-M5, image comes up and I can set up basic stuff, then when X/Wayland starts, it goes black. I added the line for the M2 that there on the web page to set it to 1920x1080x60, I am using AOC 24" so that not an issue. The Windows Manager does come up after that, I think i <clipped message>
